A non-permanent connection is created between a preform support(39) and a coupling(2) by: a) the support moving a spring-mounted holder(5) of the coupling out of a resting position; b) inserting the support into a holding area of the coupling; c) movement of the holder back into its resting position due to the resetting force of the spring. An independent claim is made for the process equipment in which a coupling(2) has one or more spring mounted holders(5) forming a holding area for a support(39) and swivelling relative to a main body(4) of the coupling. The swivelling joint(6) is offset relative to an insertion flank of the holder.
