<p>The invention relates to a telecommunication system and method wherein a rechargeable prepaid account is managed so as to provide a recharging possibility. Two or more credit cards can be used for recharging the prepaid account, providing greater flexibility. A management system of the telecommunication service provider comprises a memory for storing information on the at least two credit cards, which are allowed to be used for recharging the account. The system furthermore provides the possibility of creating a prepaid group account wherein several persons can commonly use the same prepaid group account, and can independently recharge the account by using his/her credit card.</p> |
