The invention relates to a dosing device that comprises a storage container containing a viscous substance that can be linked with a displacement dosing device via a valve device. Said valve device comprises a double seat valve that releases either the link between the storage container and the displacement dosing device or the link between the displacement storage device and the outlet port of the valve device. The inventive dosing device can be operated without separate inlet and outlet valves and allows for a compact design of the dosing device. It is especially useful for handling minimum quantities of low to highly viscous substances of any kind.
