摘要 |
PURPOSE: Air bearing structure for a head slider is provided to prevent damage on the head and vibration of the slider, and to minimize abrasion of a disk through maintaining floated height of the disk. CONSTITUTION: A T-shaped unit(41) generates a specific size of pressure by a two-step groove unit for rapidly floating a slider(24). Herein, first intaglio units(41a) generate a sufficient negative pressure in the slider for increasing strength of an air bearing while blocking input of worn particles to a head. Herein, the strength of the slider minimizes vibration of the slider. C-shaped units(42) increase strength toward a slider roll for stabilizing floated state. Moreover, second intaglio units(42a) generate a negative pressure to an outer side of the slider. Thus, pitch angle is increased for rapidly floating the slider. A triangle unit(43) generates a positive pressure for maintaining a minimum gap between the disk and the head for preventing collision of the disk and the slider. Moreover, a third intaglio unit(43a) discharges the worn particles.
