The coupling has a connector fixed on the cycle and a coupling part mounted on the trailer. The connector and coupling part are coupled by a connecting pin (17) which is uneven around its longitudinal path. A movable locking element (23) which can be inserted in the socket opening (16) of the trailer coupling fixes the pin in the uneven area . the pin is preferably circular and has grooves (18) forming the uneven surface. The locking element is spring loaded and fixes the pin in the rest position.
