PREPARATION METHOD OF POLYOLELFIN/CLAY NANO COMPLEX

PURPOSE: Provided is the preparation method of polyolelfin/clay nano complex which shows high mechanical property with the use of small amount of clay because polyolefin is inserted between the layers of the clay by enhanced compatibility between polyolefin and clay. CONSTITUTION: The preparation process includes the steps of: obtaining modified polyolefin by co-polymerizing or graft polymerizing with hydrophilic compound so that there are 0.1-10 wt. part of hydrophilic compound to 100 wt. part of polyolefin; obtaining separately modified layered clay with hydrophobic compound by hand blending or adding solution of hydrophobic compounds or itself to the suspension of clay, the wt. part ratio being 100 part of clay to 7-30 wt. part of hydrophobic compound and mixing 90-99.9 wt. part of the polyolefin and 0.1-10 wt. part of clay together.
