A system and method generates and displays a multimedia presentation using images, video, 3D graphics, digital fax, voice mail, HTML pages, and documents with graphics and audio; converts the multimedia presentation into a collection of multimedia streams so that electronic mailers or web browsers can retrieve it, and enables the generation of a multimedia message, which consists of a collection of multimedia streams with graphical and synchronized audio/video annotations that can be mailed and retrieved by electronic mailers.
