<p>A piezo actuator for operating a mechanical component, in particular, an injector for fuel metering in an internal combustion engine, is disclosed. Said actuator is provided with a head- and foot-piece (3, 4), between which a piezo element (2) is mounted in the operating direction. At least one centring body (11, 12; 14, 15) is provided, which is mounted between the piezo element (2) and the head- and/or the foot-piece (3, 4) and a tensioning arrangement (5, 6; 12, 13) is arranged between the head- and the foot-pieces (3, 4) for tensioning the piezo element (2). The centring body can be, for example, a cone (11, 12) or a ball (14, 15).</p> |
