PURPOSE: An unbalance detector of an automatic washing machine is provided to detect the change degree of frequency accurately by improving vibration detecting structure, and to improve reliability by minimizing influence on washing condition. CONSTITUTION: A water level detecting unit(300) is placed in an outer tub to detect level of water. A housing(310) has a pressure inlet(311) for hydraulic pressure. A diaphragm(330) is fixed in the housing by a coil coupling unit(320) to rise by pressure through the pressure inlet. A coil(340) is mounted in the upper part of the coil coupling unit to generate magnetic flux according to applying currents, and a core(360) is installed in the middle of the diaphragm. A spring(370) is mounted in the upper part of the core by a cap member(380) to move the core up and down. A round tube(390) is installed out of the spring to contain the spring and fix the cap member. A vibration detecting unit(400) is installed in the upper part of the coil coupling unit to detect vibration by unbalance of the laundry in dehydration. Vibration is detected by connecting or isolating the coil through moving a ball, and the influence on the washing machine condition is minimized with detecting the unbalance of the washing tub. |
