A cricket device comprises a body having a short leg and a long leg united substantially in an L-shape, at least the short leg (4) being formed from material of physical strength sufficient to resist hammering and so dimensioned as to lie in, but to extend above the groove of a cricket stump, the long leg (5) being provided with three locating means e.g. (6) or (9) spaced apart at a distance corresponding to the regulation spacing of cricket stumps. The device is used for first marking the regulation spacing of stumps and secondly for hammering the stumps into the ground by placing said short end into the groove of the stump and then hammering said short end.</p> |
