<p>A clamp (1) comprising: two opposed first clamping surfaces (5), two opposed second clamping surfaces (6) disposed perpendicularly to the planes of the first clamping surfaces, two opposed bearing surfaces (4) spaced apart and located on the longitudinal axes of the first clamping surfaces and disposed at an angle from the first clamping surfaces, and two rigid bearing points, one of said bearing points located to align when in use adjacent to one of the bearing surfaces and the other bearing point located to align when in use adjacent to the other bearing surface, and means (20) for imparting a longitudinal force such that the bearing surfaces are urged against the bearing points.</p> |
