System for incubating sample fluids

A system for the incubation of sample liquids, consists of a rack (10) where incubation vessels (20) are located in holding plate (3) bore holes (12), an incubation block (1) with bore holes (2) for the vessels, and an arrangement for tempering the incubation block, which is thermally connected to the latter. The holding plate bore holes and the incubation block bore holes, are geometrically arranged so the incubation vessels of the rack fit into the incubation block bore holes.
