Its first contact end has a blade contact with a wire insert slot and a clamp contact for a cable wire end that are optionally usable. The socket has a base body (1) forming a contact bearer of electrically insulating material and at least two electrically conducting contact elements (2) fixed in the base body with a first contact end (2a) for connection to a cable wire end (3) and a second contact end (2b) for plug contact with a counter contact element (4) of an electrical unit (5).
