PURPOSE: A projection system by using a single plate LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to improve brightness by minimizing optical loss. CONSTITUTION: A projection system is composed of a light source(12) generating white light; a color separating part(16) having plural color separating units to sort white light to red, green and blue pixels; a single projection LCD having each subordinate pixel; a focusing lens part(18) having plural micro lenses to focus each pixel to the pixels of the LCD; and a projection lens part(40) projecting light through the LCD to a screen. The projection system sorts colors and colorizes without a color filter or color wheel, and uses the light to the LCD.
