ROTATABLE COMBUSTION SYSTEM OF DISPERSED ASH

PURPOSE: A rotatable combustion system of dispersed ash is provided to process dispersed ash having a low specific gravity efficiently without dispersing the ash again. CONSTITUTION: Dispersed ash is transferred to a screw feeder smoothly by rotation of a smooth feeder under a dispersed ash storage tank. The transferred dispersed ash is supplied to a guide unit through a clearance between screws when the screws of the screw feeder are rotated by a motor. Then the dispersed ash is dropped to dispersed ash transfer pipes(16) by the gravity. Preheated air of a heat exchanger is injected by an air nozzle to a primary combustion chamber(24) of a rotatable combustion furnace(20) together with the dispersed ash. Oxygen necessary for burning the dispersed ash is supplied to oxygen pipes(17a) and mixed with the ignited dispersed ash and the preheated air. The mixture is transferred to the primary combustion chamber through an injection port(21) and dispersed in a tangential direction of a cylindrical rotor(25). A flame injected from a primary burner(30) is injected in the same direction. Thereby, the flame is swirled together with the oxygen, the preheated air and the dispersed ash to be burned. For burning, oxygen is supplied into the furnace instead of air. Therefore, a small amount of exhaust gas is generated and the flame in the furnace is regulated. The combustion efficiency is enhanced with keeping the high temperature atmosphere in the furnace.
