Pulsed power sources (33) are installed in one or more wells in a reservoir (11). The pulse sources include an electrohydraulic generator that produces an electromagnetic pulse and an acoustic pulse and an electromagnetic generator that produces an electromagnetic pulse (35). The combination of the two generators causes both the acoustic vibration and electromagnetically-induced high-frequency vibrations to occur in the area of the reservoir where stimulation is desired.
