The pump has at least one heat carrier (heating medium) pump P1, P2, P3, an adsorber A1, A2, A3, a desorber D1, D2, D3, a condenser K1, K2, K3, an evaporator V1, V2, V3, a condenser heat exchanger KWT, an evaporator heat exchanger VWT, a high-temperature heat exchanger HWT and a low-temperature heat exchanger NWT. In order to permit optimum adaptation to the respective conditions, it is provided that the sorption heat pump has three heat carrier circuits W1, W2, W3 of which two are formed by a series connection of a multiplicity of condensers K1, K2, K3 and evaporators V1, V2, V3 that are connected in each case to a heat exchanger KWT, VWT and to a heat carrier pump P2, P3, and one is formed by a series connection of a multiplicity of adsorbers A1, A2, A3 and desorbers D1, D2, D3 with heat exchangers HWT, NWT, and a heat carrier pump P1.
