A computer program product is for use with a computer system to execute simulated operation of an environment. The program product includes a plurality of service programs. The service programs are configured to collectively determine simulated attributes of objects of the environment under simulated operation. At least some of the service programs include attribute accessing programs. Data port programs are configured to be operable during execution of the service programs. The data port programs are associated with selected service programs to couple the selected service programs to the external environment. The selected service programs and the data port programs collectively accomplish intercommunication of attribute values between the simulated environment and the external environment. <IMAGE>
