<p>The present invention relates to a neat cutting oil composition comprising, based on the total weight of the composition, from 1 to 99.5% of a hydrogenated dimer or a mixture of hydrogenated dimers, said dimer(s) being selected from the group consisting of octene dimers, decene dimers and dodecene dimers.
