PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic firing method of high-yield with reduce firing deformation and reduced dunting, when ceramic members are promptly fired in an industrial scale in a continuous furnace and provided the continuous furnace suitable for the prompt firing. SOLUTION: In this ceramic member firing method, formed ceramic bodies 5 are placed on a plurality of vessels 6 and they are fired, as they are allowed to move from the inlet of the continuous furnace to the outlet in a longitudinal row. Each ceramic formed body 5 placed on individual vessels 6 are allowed to float tin the air with the gas ejected from the furnace bed and fired as they are each rotated. |
