SYNDIOTACTIC STYRENE COPOLYMER RESIN COMPOSITION INCLUDING MACROMONOMER FOR INCREASING SHOCK RESISTANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a syndiotactic styrene copolymer resin composition that is increased in shock resistance and contains a macromonomer by allowing a rubber-like resin and/or a thermoplastic resin to be included in the copolymer resin composition as a base resin. SOLUTION: The objective syndiotactic styrene copolymer resin composition comprises (A) 1-99 mass % of a syndiotactic copolymer that is obtained by copolymerizing one or more kinds of the macromonomers each bearing a vinyl group and having a polymerization activity at the chain terminal and (B) 99-1 mass % of one or more kinds of rubber-like resins and/or one or more kinds of thermoplastic resins. In this case, as the component (B) are cited one or more kinds of rubber-like resins each bearing a polar group and/or having a core/shell structure in which the rubber component is included as the core and the shell part is constructed by coating a part thereof with styrene vinyl monomers including styrene followed by polymerization.
