PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording apparatus with a scanner which utilizes an ink-jet principle whereby recording papers of a plurality of sizes can be used as necessary. SOLUTION: This ink-jet recording apparatus with the scanner comprises a multi-nozzle type, ink-jet recording head having many ink discharge ports arranged therein, a reliability restoration mechanism constituted of a cap for covering the ink discharge ports and a negative pressure generation part connected inside the cap, a read mechanism by the scanner 27, and a plurality of recording paper supply means. |
