PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original film for lithography which enables making of a printing plate of an excellent image quality by a simple plate making method necessitating no alkaline developer and further with the discriminability between an image part and a non-image part maintained sufficiently, and to provide a lithographic printing plate which can be made by fitting the film directly on a printing machine after scanning exposure is a short time without conducting development and which is excellent in plate wear and causes little printing stain on a printing surface. SOLUTION: The original film for the printing plate has a layer containing resin to be set by light or heat and a hydrophilic layer containing a metal or a metal compound on a support sequentially. As for the lithographic printing plate, an image is recorded on the original film by casting an image-form laser light thereon, the surface irradiated by the light is brought into contact with printing ink so as to form a printing surface of which the image area accepts the ink, and printing is executed. |
