PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a gear by implementing the pressing in the total processes including an asymmetrical chamfering process of a tip. SOLUTION: An initial tooth profile 13 is formed in the circumference by blanking a base material by the pressing (A), and a coining process is implemented to form an intermediate tooth profile including a left intermediate chamfered portion 14l and a right intermediate chamfered portion 14r by pressing the initial tooth profile 13 by a symmetric upper die to symmetrically chamfer the tip in the right-to-left direction (B). Next, by achieving the shaving process in which the intermediate tooth profile is pressed by shifting the phase byθusing a press die 15 having a symmetrical blade 16 which is slightly smaller than the intermediate tooth profile, the left intermediate chamfered portion 14l and the right intermediate chamfered portion 14r are asymmetrically cut (C), and a right chamfered portion 5r and a left chamfered portion 5l and formed to be asymmetrical in the final tooth profile (D).
