PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of the inconvenience in the operation requiring the nipping of a fishing rod between the thighs or under the arm when fishing up a fish or attaching a bait because a conventional fishing rod-receiving device of the type to be got on the body is not present, and the receiving device is used to be mounted and used at the site apart from the body. SOLUTION: This portable fishing rod-receiving device can be always got on the body. The fishing rod-receiving device is convenient for fixing the fishing rod when disgorging the hook from a hooked fish or attaching the bait, is readily detachable and is convenient even when moving to another fishing site.
