FRAME MATERIAL FOR BAMBOO-MADE FUSUMA AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame material for a bamboo-made fusuma of a small warp and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A species of thick-stemmed bamboo is divided peripherally into a plurality of parts to make a beltlike bamboo material 2. Further, a face of a front layer side X and a face of an inner layer side Y of the bamboo are ground so that the both faces become parallel to each other to make a plate-like member 3. Then, a plurality of the plate-like members 3 are laminated by opposing a face of the front layer side X of the plate-like member 3 to a face of the front layer side X of another plate-like member 3 and opposing the face of the inner layer side Y to the face of the inner layer side Y of another plate-like member 3 to form a square pillar-like member 5. After grooving four pieces of the square pillar-like members, those four pieces of the square pillar-like members 5 are assembled in a frame body state around a rectangular face material 21 to make the frame material 6 for bamboo-made fusuma. In this case a laminating direction of the plate-like member 3 is directed to an inside and outside direction of the frame body, and the square pillar-like member 5 is arranged.
