<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber material for a golf ball capable of improving the initial velocity of a solid core or a solid center of a solid golf ball or a thread-wound golf ball, and increasing a degree of freedom in designing the golf ball, and a golf ball having the center core made of the rubber material. SOLUTION: In this rubber material for a golf ball prepared by blending a base rubber, metallic salt ofα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid, organic peroxide and a filler, 0.1-15 mass parts of synthetic zeolite as the filler is blended to 100 mass parts of the base rubber.</p> |
