PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic material excellent in moisture conditioning property. SOLUTION: The moisture conditioning material for cosmetic material consists of a urethane resin which is obtained by reacting a water absorbing resin-dispersed body with a polyisocyanate compound and in which a water absorbing resin or its hydrated gel is dispersed. The water absorbing resin- dispersed body is obtained by dispersing the water absorbing resin or its water- absorbed gel in a polyol. The water absorbing resin is obtained by polymerizing in the polyol.
