PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image reader capable of facilitating key input relating to photographing and read without performing special setting. SOLUTION: This medical image reader is provided with a detection means for detecting the key input of an operation relating to the photographing or read of medical images, a display means for performing key display corresponding to the key input of the detection means, a control means 11 for controlling the photographing or read of the medical images based on the key input and controlling the key display in the display means and a performing means for performing the photographing or read of the medical images based on the control of the control means. The control means performs the control of changing the arrangement of the key display for each photographing frequency.
