PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridging rod which can prevent inconformity accompanying the positional deviation of a cylindrical body. SOLUTION: The bridging rod having a cylindrical body 2, a contact portion 11 with an other object W placed in both ends of the cylindrical body 2, and an energizing force giving means energizing the contacting portion 11 in a direction separating from each other along the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical body 2, wherein a pressing pressure detecting means 13 detecting the pressing pressure for the other object W in one contacting portion 11 by means of the bridging rod holding the cylindrical body 2 by bringing the contacting portion 11 with and pressing it to the other object W opposing each other or a position difference detecting means detecting the positional deviation to the other object W is placed, or an information means 15 informing that a detected pressing pressure is below a set pressure and that a detected positional deviation amount is above a set amount is placed.
