PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet recorder in which a head unit or an ink tank storing ink can be replaced easily and waste of resource is prevented by replacing only a required part. SOLUTION: A head unit 3 and a sub-tank 2 are formed while being divided and they are mounted removably on a carriage 1. The head unit 3 and the sub-tank 2 are coupled through a removable joint mechanism section 26 when they are mounted on the carriage 1. Consequently, the head unit 3 and the sub-tank 2 can be fixed easily to the carriage 1 and can be replaced separately. |
