PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent pinch roller lock in a paper discharging unit due to the sending of overlapping papers. SOLUTION: A stencil printing device is equipped with an overlapping paper sending sensor 110 for measuring the amount of transmitted light of a printing paper transferred to a timing roll 111, a control means 101 judging whether the printing paper transferred to the timing roll 111 is overlapped or not based on the measured result of the amount of transmitted light and indicating to a secondary paper feed stopping means 105 to stop the driving of the roll 111 when the printing paper is overlapped, and secondary paper feed stopping means 105, 106 for stopping the driving of the roll 111.
