PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reuse a recovered powder generated in powder coating without being accompanied by defective appearance caused by foreign matters, runaway, and the like. SOLUTION: The method is a method for coating an internal plate part and an exterior plate part of a large sized object to be coated such as an automotive body, or the like, and comprises the following successive steps; a powder coating step for an internal plate by spray-coating the internal plate of a large sized object to be coated with a power slurry coating material and a powder coating step for an external plate by electrostatically powder-coating with the powder coating material the external plate of the large scale object disposed on the downstream side of the powder slurry coating step for the internal plate and having the internal plate coated with the powder slurry coating. The uncoated powder coating material generated in the powder coating step for the external plate is recovered and the recovered powder coating material is reused in the powder slurry coating step for the internal plate.
