PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armrest device of which the attaching/detaching operation is easy, and wherein the armrest main body can be detached from a seat back. SOLUTION: An attaching shaft 101 is projected from the armrest main body 4. A cylindrical section 22 in which the attaching shaft 101 is detachably inserted is provided on the side section of the seat back 2. An engaging recess 102 is provided on the attaching shaft 101, and an engaging plate 30 which engages with the engaging recess 102 is provided on the seat back 2. Then, a coil spring 37 which urges the engaging plate 30 in a manner to be engaged with the engaging recess 102 is provided. Under an attached state, the engaging plate 30 is engaged with the engaging recess 102 by the coil spring 37, and the attaching shaft 101 is fixed. By releasing the engaged state of the engaging plate 30 by pressing an operation section 31, the attaching shaft 101 is removed, and the armrest main body 4 can be replaced.
