PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance by compactly constituting a liquid separation device and to make the device to be portable by facilitated handling. SOLUTION: A 2nd liquid floatation separated form a liquid mixture is recovered and a remaining 1st liquid returned to a liquid storage vessel by parting a liquid treating vessel 10 with a partition plate 14 and providing an inclination plate group 60 for separating the liquid mixture in a 2nd liquid collecting chamber 16 to be the upstream side. The liquid treating vessel is supported by a supporting part 25 composed of a bottom supporting plate 26 having a plane shape almost the same as that of the treating vessel and supporting legs 27 standing from the outer peripheral part thereof. An introducing pipe 32, a delivering pipe 46, which are for supplying and delivering respectively only each of untreated and treated liquid in the liquid treating vessel, and a 2nd liquid recovering pipe 42 for delivering the recovered 2nd liquid are led downward from the bottom plate 12 and the control device 65 for controlling a pump 30 for supplying the untreated liquid to the introducing pipe and the operation of the liquid separation device is arranged on the bottom part supporting plate 26 so as not to be projected outside.
