PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair shampoo composition having low irritation and excellent in foaming property, foam quality and feeling to uses in washing and finish washing and having adequate detergency and good stability with time. SOLUTION: This hair shampoo composition is characterized by combining an ether sulfate type anionic surfactant or an amide ether sulfate type anionic surfactant with a betaine type amphoteric surfactant and an alkylbis(dihydroxypropyl)-amine at a specific ratio.
