<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass which is extremely suitable to be used as a substrate glass both in display techniques and for a thin film photocell. SOLUTION: The aluminoborosilicate glass containing no alkali metal shows 2.8×10-6/K to 3.6×10-6/K coefficient of thermal expansionα20/300 and has the composition (by mass% based on oxides) of >58 to 65 SiO2, >6 to 11 B2O3, >20 to 25 Al2O3, 4 to <6.5 MgO, >4.5 to 8 CaO, 0 to <4 SrO, 0.5 to <5 BaO satisfying SrO+BaO >3 and 0 to 2 ZnO.</p> |
