PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufaturing the aggregate for asphalt utilizing sewage-sludge incineration ash. SOLUTION: An appropriate amount of water is added to the sewage-sludge incineration ash containing >=30% finely crushed grains, the admixture is kneaded and then compressed into a compact of appropriate shape, the compact is sintered to obtain a sintered compact, and the sintered compact is crushed and classified into appropriate grain diameters.
