PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control the processing and the transferring (attaching) of a stencil original paper in accordance with a plurality of plate cylinders respectively. SOLUTION: A stencil printing device is constituted so that single processing unit (a frame 6) is moved with respect to a plurality of plate cylinders 2A, 2B to attach a processed stencil original paper S. The position of the processing unit is detected by a position sensor 31 and a shielding plate 32. A plate cylinder information, such as the color of ink supplied to respective plate cylinders 2A, 2B or the like, is detected by a plate cylinder information detecting means. The processing unit after finishing the transfer of the stencil original paper S to respective plate cylinders 2A, 2B is kept in standby at the position of the plate cylinder 2A (2B) which is transferred finally. A process indicating information, promoting that the processing is started from the plate cylinder 2A (2B), positioned at the position of standby, is indicated in an indicating means for an operator.
