PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antibacterial agent for mold with offensive odors, demonstrating antifungal action in vapor phase even on the mold having strong odor, sustaining bacteriostasis for the mold even under practical service conditions accompanied by ventilation and capable of deodorizing. SOLUTION: This antibacterial agent for mold with offensive odors is obtained by using one or more natural essential oil components selected from Brassicaceae and Chamaecyparis especially components selected from the group consisting of phenylisothiocyanate esters and hinokitiol as its active ingredient.
