PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording body of superior resistance to scuffing, resistance to water, light fastness, resistance to solvents and surface glossiness, and also of improved storage properties, of wide range of versatility and demonstrating good printing characteristics even when used for any type of printers. SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive recording body is provided with at least a heat-sensitive recording layer formed on a substrate, over which a surface protective film is laminated through a binder layer, and the binder layer is composed of a rubber emulsion binder, and the coating amount of the binder is in the range of 0.1-4.0 g/m2, preferably 0.3-2.5 g/m2, or the total thickness of the surface protective film and the binder layer is in the range of 2.0-10.0 μm, preferably 2.5-8.5 μm. |
