<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a constant length coated rodlike member, capable of efficiently coating a rod material with a coating material. SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing the constant length coated rodlike member is equipped with a crosshead 1 for continuously coating the successively inserted rod material with the coating material, a push-in means 2 for successively pushing the rod material 6 in the crosshead 1 and a coating material means 3 for supplying the coating material in the crosshead 1. A speed detection means 4 for detecting the moving speed in the downstream direction of the coated long rod material formed while passed through the crosshead 1 and a cutting means 5 for successively cutting the long coated rod material passed through the speed detection means 4 are provided. The push-in means 2 and the cutting means 5 are made synchronous to the moving speed of the long rod material.</p> |
