PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the manufacturing process of a multi-layer flexible belt and thereby cut a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: Fibers 14 are soaked in a first liquid elastomer 19 and then are wound around a mandrel 50. Next, a die is made to pass through the mandrel 50 and thereby the fibers 14 soaked in the liquid elastomer 19 are smoothed into a belt shape. After that, a first belt layer is formed by curing the first liquid elastomer 19. Thus a multilayered form can be made by repeating the described process, and the formed belt is removed from the mandrel 50. It is possible to select the fibers 14 and the liquid elastomer 19 so that desired belt characteristics are obtained. |
