PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium oxide dispersion which can be uniformly dispersed without coating dispersion with foreign substance or without using a metal salt dispersant even when the dispersion is added in high concentration. SOLUTION: The titanium oxide dispersion is prepared by uniformly dispersing titanium oxide power in a dispersion medium containing peroxotitanic acid.
