The invention relates to an implant (1) for temporarily fixing tissue (4), especially nerves, ligaments, tendons, blood vessels or internal organs. Said implant comprises a compressible and biodegradable sheath (2).This sheath preferably consists of interwoven longitudinal elements (2a, 2b) extending in spirals, in opposite directions. The sheath is configured in such a way that when extended in the direction of the longitudinal axis, it contracts in a radial direction thereto. In a further embodiment, the sheath is produced from a workpiece, especially injection molded, punched or machined with a laser. |
