PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an inconvenience of untieing or tieing a shoelace each time the user takes off or puts on working shoes. SOLUTION: In the front part of a quarter section 4, a split part 8 is formed which is formed by a right piece 6 and a left piece 7. Tightening sections 11a-13a and 11b-13b are installed in the side edges of the light and left pieces 6, 7 respectively so that they may opposite to each other across the split section 8. When one puts on the working shoes 1, one passes the shoelace 10 through the tightening sections 11a-13a, 11b-13b to tighten the shoes. In this working shoes 1, a route length changing means 14a is installed to change a route length of the shoelace 10 which is passed between the tightening sections 12a and 13a of the light piece 6 and a route length changing means 14b is formed to change a route length of the shoelace 10 which is passed between the tightening sections 12b and 13b of the left piece 7.
