PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a conventional industrial machine in which a rotary shuttle faces the front face and a space at the lower part of a sewing table is restricted in the vicinity of the rotary shuttle, and hence, there is no room required where a bobbin case exchange device can be mounted. SOLUTION: An actuator 13 for parallel transfer moving of a chuck 5 is horizontally disposed in the forward and rearward direction of the sewing machine in parallel with the rotary shaft of a rotary shuttle 2. A head-shaking actuator 12 turning between the rotary shuttle 2 and an exchange cassette 7 is horizontally arranged in the lateral direction of the sewing machine. The chuck 5 can be transferred and turned by a common head-shaking slider 35. A compact bobbin case exchange device 1 having a small vertical size can be realized and mounted on a sewing machine the rotary shuttle of which faces the front face.
