PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope system using plural processors with which a cost and space are suppressed and diagnostic efficiency is enhanced. SOLUTION: The first processor 30 connected with a first scope 20 of the electronic endoscope system and the second processor 50 connected with a second scope 40 are connected to a switching device 10 and further a monitor 70 is connected to the switching device 10. The switching device 10 selects at least either one of the first processor and the second processor in accordance with the connecting state of both scopes of the first and second processors 30 and 50 and sends the video signal outputted from the selected processor to the monitor 70.
