PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid type carbide that is homogeneous, can be formed into a desired shape with rich functionality and light weight. SOLUTION: Combustible substance or a substance including combustible substance is used as a starting material, an inorganic binding agent and the starting material are kneaded together with water whereby the inorganic binder is dispersed, as the water works as a medium. The kneaded product is formed into a prescribed shape, and then fired thereby producing the objective hybrid type carbide. In this case, the above-stated binder and a water-soluble inorganic substance are mixed and kneaded together with water whereby the inorganic binder and the water-soluble inorganic substance are characteristically dispersed as the water works a medium. |
