PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating pot for decocting chinese medicines. SOLUTION: This heating pot comprises a container 10 storing the medicines to be decocted, a light generating means 22 stored in no contact with the container 10 and generating high-temperature infrared rays toward the container 10, a heater 20 including a follower portion 26 constituted of a side follower 26a extended from the side section of a main reflecting means 23 reflecting the infrared rays to the container and the heater 20 to envelop the side section of a condenser 30 provided on the container 10 and an upper follower 26b connected to the upper end of the side follower 26a to envelop the upper section of the condenser 30, and the condenser 30 provided at the entrance of the container 10 and capable of condensing the main medicine component in steam.
